Born in 1945, James E.
"Jim" Collins has been operating heavy machinery for 36 years. Jim's
interest began in the late 50's to early 60's. By 1966, Jim bought his
first backhoe, and was one of the first in the North Georgia Mountain
area to have mobile heavy equipment besides the county and state. He
called his business "Collins Backhoe Service". Jim's son, Justin James
Collins, born in 1975, has worked all of his life under the supervision
of his father.
